Delete Your Account

You can delete your WakeJam account using either method:

Option 1: In the App

1. Open WakeJam
2. Tap the Settings icon
3. Scroll down and tap Delete Account
4. Confirm the deletion when prompted

Option 2: By Email

Send a deletion request to privacy@wakejam.app from the email address associated with your WakeJam account. We will process your request within 30 days.

When you delete your account, the following data is anonymized and permanently removed within 30 days:

• Account information — name, email address, and profile photo
• Alarm configurations — all alarm schedules and settings
• Song library — your generated songs and associated metadata
• Music preferences — genre selections and style preferences
• Song ratings and reports — feedback you provided on generated songs
• Push notification tokens — FCM tokens linked to your account

The following non-personal data may be retained after account deletion:

• Anonymized usage analytics — aggregated app usage metrics that cannot be linked back to you
• Crash reports — anonymized technical logs retained for a limited period to support app stability

This retained data is fully anonymized and cannot be used to identify you.

• Account deletion is permanent and irreversible once the 30-day anonymization process is complete
• You will be immediately signed out and lose access to your account upon deletion
• If you have an active subscription, please cancel it through the Google Play Store before deleting your account to avoid future charges
